Finding Time

The best way to get something done is to begin. ~Author Unknown

I checked out a book at the library on Saturday that sounded like something I really could use.

Unfortunately, I haven't been able to find the time to read it! LOL... It is sitting nearby, mocking me, as we speak.

=======================
DD has been thoroughly enjoying the snow (the dog loves it, too -- so I'm in the clear minority here). Check out her entertainment yesterday afternoon in our backyard:

Normally she'd have Dakota chasing her down the sledding trail, but for these videos I was looking for something solo.

I rather miss the carefree days of youth. I watch her and think about puking and breaking bones and cold... I'm an old fuddy-duddy.

==========================

You Are a Hawk

You have a fighting spirit, and you don't back down from any challenge. You aren't scared of getting in the mix.

You aren't necessarily violent, but you understand why violence sometimes is necessary. It's a cruel world out there.

You are a natural debater. People may find you belligerent, but you just like to argue. It's not personal.

You rather have conflict than pretend to go along to get along. You stand up for what you believe in.

Uh... yep...

I love those days when we didn't have a care in the world. Just get up and slide down the snow path, not worrying about bones or getting back up to do it all over again.

You Are a Dove

You believe that it's important to keep the peace. There's too much fighting in the world these days.

You understand why conflict happens, but more importantly, you understand its effects.

You know that you can't bring about world peace. However, you do believe that all of your actions have consequences.

You try to do your part by being compassionate and seeing both sides of things. Whenever possible, you try to mediate disputes.
Yeah, it's me.

Oh man, I have all kinds of organizers, planners, books to help me get my life in order and become the creative, serene person I'm certain is my destiny.... never enough time to use them, though: I feel your pain.

Love the videos! Amazing how much fun you can have with a saucer and six inches of snow.

As for me, I'm a dove.

Wishing you a productive, peaceful day!

I can barely remember what it was like to have a snow day and the magic of fresh snow to play in, especially as it doesn't snow here like that often.

I am a Dove.

I hope you're having a wonderful day!

I'm giggling like a loon over your not having to read a book about finding more time. *g*

Sounds like a book I could use too, but like you finding the time to read it would be hard. There is something so wrong about that!
