R.I.P. Patrick Swayze 1952 - 2009

"Nobody puts Baby in a corner." - Patrick Swayze in Dirty Dancing

So sad... what a great actor and dancer and all around entertainer. Who didn't love "Dirty Dancing" (and who didn't want their own "Johnny")? And then there's one of my DH's fave "man" movies: "Roadhouse". What about that pottery wheel scene in "Ghost"? Ooh lala...

He fought his disease bravely. I wish him peace.

Every YouTube video for this has the embedding disabled, but I would be remiss if I didn't show the final dance in "Dirty Dancing".

He will be missed.

I must be the only person who has never seen "Dirty Dancing." I did however enjoy "Ghost", "Roadhouse" and "Next of Kin".

Im so sad to hear he passed. I loved his movies. And I loved what a great person he was.

Also loved that he was married to his wife for 32 yrs and you could totally tell they adored each other!

I didn't think I'd like Dirty Dancing but it's a great movie. And I love the quote you used from it. It's a classic line.

He did fight bravely. Rest well, Patrick.

I hated to hear he had lost his battle with pancreatic cancer. Next of Kin and Dirty Dancing are my favorites of his. I wish his wife support and peace.
