Infatuation is when you think he's as sexy as Robert Redford, as smart as Henry Kissinger, as noble as Ralph Nader, as funny as Woody Allen, and as athletic as Jimmy Conners. Love is when you realize that he's as sexy as Woody Allen, as smart as Jimmy Connors, as funny as Ralph Nader, as athletic as Henry Kissinger and nothing like Robert Redford - but you'll take him anyway. ~Judith Viorst, Redbook, 1975

I have a confession to make. I have a crush on someone. I don't know why, exactly, as he's really not my type. But I watched a movie with him last week and, by the end of it, I was madly in love.

Luke Mably.

Maybe it was his accent? His earnestness? His strength?

The worst part of this crush is -- he really isn't a prolific actor, and so is in few movies. I can't feed the crush by seeing everything he's done, because there aren't that many options.

But, really... isn't he adorable?

Who are you crushing on?

Hey... this week at the reviews blog, we're giving away a GREAT autographed book. Better, at the site, for this weeks contest? Yet another autographed book. Go look. Go enter. You won't regret it. Start spreading the news (how's that for an ear worm?).

I worked on "Kitchen Matches" yesterday. I put in a kitten instead of a puppy. Even writing about a puppy was too much work, LOL. She's a smoke gray kitten with blue eyes, and the heroine is appropriately thankful *G*.

We got a TON of snow yesterday. Easily a foot, if not more, and the drifts? Holy cow. The sides of our driveway are up to my waist or higher. DD is thrilled. Dakota wants to be -- she really does love the snow, but she's so little she disappears in it.

We'll see if DH goes to work today since he commutes to Massachusetts.

Your Psyche is Red

You are bright, bold, energetic, and intense.
Your upbeat, zany energy inspires those who are down.
Spontaneous and playful, you also have a courageous and fearless side.

When you are too red: you are angry, overprotective, and truly scary.

When you don't have enough red: you are depleted and lifeless.

I think I need a bit more red today... at least now I know how to dress!

I like the idea of a kitten in the story. I don't know why, except that I like cats more than I like dogs. Just so much more self-restrained, I think. Anyhow, congrats on your progress with Kitchen Matches. Great title and I'm sure the revamped version is going to be super!

What movie was your crush in? I'm just ending a crush right now. He is one of the mountain rescue guys helping with my book. Need to find a new one ;)

He IS pretty cute. And I'm a sucker for an English accent. :) One of my favorite actors is Samuel West who isn't the most prolific film actor either. And a lot of his parts are relatively small. But they're always choice. One of the cool things about Sam is his mother. She's Prunella Scales and she played Sybil Fawlty on Fawlty Towers. :)

My Psyche is Violet

You are spiritual, intuitive, and serene. People trust you to rescue them from bad situations, and you usually come through. While you are quite enlightened, you find that your path is very lonely.

When you are too violet: you can't connect to ordinary life or ordinary people

When you don't have enough violet: you lack wisdom and can't learn from the past

Serene?! ROFL!!! I do like the color, though. :)

Your crush is a cutie! I'm still kinda wishing for snow, and I live to far away for you to smack me! *G*
I am: Blue. You are deeply emotional and very connected to everything (and everyone) around you.
By simply understanding other people, you are able to help them heal and let go.
While you are a very deep and thoughtful person, you do have a very silly, superficial side.

When you are too blue: the weight of the world's problems hangs over you

When you don't have enough blue: you lack perspective and understanding.

Um, okay.......

Have a good evening! Stay warm!
