Rainy Days

Had a rainy weekend. DD was distraught at not going to the fair. We have one more fair in the state this year and I told her I'd look into going. It's the Sandwich Fair (anyone know anything about that one?). Of course, my friend Michele is in town on Saturday so that day would be out ... but maybe Sunday or Monday (yay for Columbus Day!).

I posted at Healthful & Homemade last night -- the first time in months (shame on me).

Otherwise, it was just a quiet weekend for us. DD is thrilled to be going back to school today ("Yay! Tomorrow's Monday!").

Hope you all had a great, peaceful weekend.

You Are Strong yet Colorful

You sometimes seem like you're all business, but you have a playful side to you as well.

You tend to formulate ideas and make decisions alone. Once you're done, you're ready to talk to others.

You are a quiet and peaceful person. You have deep inner strength.

You are an island. You don't need anyone else to make you happy, and you are very self sufficient.

That's mostly true...

I'm so glad things are going well for you all.

How is the cat adapting?

Gorgeous day here. Cold, but beautiful!

Sorry to hear about the no-Fair thing. Hope you're able to find one to attend. Ooh, Sarita had a good question. How is Lexie?
I loved each of the choices for the quiz, but chose the picture that I could imagine taking a nice walk in and it said I'm wild. What? No.

You Are Wild Yet Creative: You value independence and the freedom to do what you want. You refuse to be told what to do.
Your thinking tends to be open minded and optimistic. You see opportunity where others see problems.
You tend to avoid commitments, preferring to keep your life free from responsibilities.
You follow your own rules in life, even if you change the rules every day.

Yeah, no. But, the picture was pretty! *g*

Hope you're having a pleasant day!

We had an interesting weekend - not. My hubby was glued to the TV set watching football all day Sat. and part of Sunday. But we did go and run a few errands together.

Glad DD was happy to go back to school today!
