(You touched a nerve with the rant on romances. I don't read them because - I haven't ever read one, because - well, I attended a writers group held by romance writers a couple of months ago. Great writers, great speakers, great ideas! I bought a book from one of them, and I shall make sure that the library I work for has a better collection than it does now!)
