A Girl and Her Dog

Science has never drummed up quite as effective a tranquilizing agent as a sunny spring day. ~W. Earl Hall

Last night when we got home from helping with agility, we all just sat outside. It was gorgeous -- warm and still a little bit light out. I toured the gardens (I have SO many crocus blooming, and the grape hyacinth are just beginning to turn purple), pooper scooped (ah, the glamor), played with the dog and then just enjoyed the evening.

So did DD and Dd.

I have big plans today for working outside .... Of course, I also have to make dog food, vacuum and finish up with the laundry I started yesterday, so we'll see how things pan out.

What's the weather like where you are? Any big plans for today?

======================

You Should Travel by Sailboat

When you travel, you really prefer to carve your own path and do things your way.

You want to go at your own pace and do as much yourself as possible. You despise group tours.

You don't travel from a schedule or plan... you just go with your intuition.

You believe that travel is more about the journey than the destination. And you'd like to sail away into the sunset!

About 50/50 -- and since I get motion sick, I'll pass on the boat! *G*

We're off today and the temp will be 65 by noon and that's when I plan to take a walk on the boardwalk in shorts.

You Should Travel By Scooter

You believe that travel is more a state of mind than anything else. It's all about your attitude.

You can travel in your home town or halfway around the world. You just make sure to savor every new taste, sight, and sound.

When you travel, you like to take your time and immerse yourself. That's why a scooter is perfect for you.

Riding a scooter means you can travel any little side street, and go slow enough to check out all the scenery.

It's 75% accurate.

Have a good Friday.

It's beautiful here, but I am in a prednisone daze...Still, I already made hot cross buns and plan a fun, crafty school day. Most importantly, we'll contemplate the fact that the God who created and rules the universe loves us so very much.

We are expecting wind up to 40mph and rain. So I won't be sitting out enjoying the weather. I will be inside keeping warm. Maybe I will bake.

Some rain this afternoon, but the rest of the week is supposed to be gorgeous--in the 80s.

Off to super-clean my house cuz my mother is visiting for the week.

A spectacular day here. The dog and I spent 2 hours in the park yesterday and I'm hoping to repeat today. It's the kind of day that just begs for you to be outside.

It's been in the upper 70s today. Nice! But kind of hazy. Or as the weather girl said this morning, "milky sunshine". That's a new one on me! And sounds really nasty!
