I ran all last months comments through Random.org and the winner of this month's contest is: LYNN REYNOLDS!!!
Lynn, email me at authormariannearkins AT gmail DOT com and tell me which prize you'd like to win from this page here.
Thanks to everyone for commenting... a new contest will start later today, when I've had a chance to peruse recently read stories and decide which one I want to share with someone.

This weekend was absolutely lovely. Warm! Okay, warm for NH -- in the 40s. Sunny! The snow is melting like crazy -- almost my entire front lawn is exposed. Of course, we get brutal, full sun all day long there. My crocus are coming up like CRAZY. I'd forgotten how many bulbs I planted last fall -- I hope they all bloom at the same time. It'll be amazing. There must be 150 little plants all over the place.
Even better? The birds are beginning to sing up the sun. I LOVE that! It's such a happy way to start the day -- just as the sun begins to lighten the sky, the air fills with song. Yep... spring and summer are the best times of year.
I took LONG walks both days. One was 90 mins, the other an hour and my legs HURT today. I am so out of shape. It's so easy to turn into a blob in the winter. There's something about sunshine that begs you to go outside and DO something. Snow and clouds? Not so much.
I've finally talked DH into getting a treadmill for all of us (including Dakota!), but now I have to do my research and get the best bang for the buck. I'm looking for something with a wide enough track I'm not going to fall off with a misstep, something that inclines safely and will take a 200+ lb man running on it. I'd prefer something that folded, but that's optional. And I don't want something that's going to break down after a year. Anyone out there have any suggestions? I could use your help.

I was going to do a test I found on a quiz site -- but I had some reservations as to its accuracy. The title? TEST HOW HIGH YOU'RE IQ IS.
So instead I give you:
You Are Fairly Skeptical |
You're not the type of person who will fall for anything... But you do keep your mind open to all sorts of possibilities. You figure that anything could be true. After all, the world is a strange place. However, you're going to need some convincing before you can believe in aliens or reincarnation! |
Yep.. that's about right.

Happy Monday!
I love when spring come because it's fun to see green all over the place and smiles on everyone's face when they realize they could stop wearing those heavy coats.
The best thing is that I can go out and take longer leisurely walks.
Good luck in your treadmdill search. I had to give up on getting one for my place because I don't have any room and the manual ones that could be folded didn't look safe.
re quiz: I'm fairly skeptical which is dead on.
Have a great Monday.
We used to have a treadmill but we got rid of it because of space issues. Sorry, can't remember the brand... think it was from Sears, though. I'm so helpful.
I'd love to start walking first thing in the morning, but I have a thing about walking in the dark by myself and I don't know if I can get over it. Besides I get my new writing done in the mornings. Always an excuse.
Enjoy another beautiful day!
I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE Spring, and all the flowers and things comming alive. The flowers on my apricot and peach tree are out. Hope that means I will get fruit this year.
You Aren't Skeptical in the Least
You see the world as a pretty mysterious place...
And in your opinion, there are many tools for unlocking the mysteries of the world.
Whether it's ESP, tarot reading, talking to angels, or astrology... you're interested!
You rather be broad minded and occasionally wrong than closed off to the world.
Pretty much correct.
Oh, isn't spring fabulous? I love this time of year!
Hey, I pretty much love any time of year when I don't have to shovel snow. *G*
We have a treadmill, and I love it. If I'd already had coffee I might be able to remember what brand it is but my brain hasn't kicked into gear yet. I'll take a peek later and let you know. Ours is very sturdy, and does fold up but it still takes up a lot of space. It is similar to the ones that are in the health club here. Nice and quiet, and smooth, and with a wide bed. Now if I could just recall the brand... Nope, getting a blank. Sorry!
Hope you have a nice Monday! Going back outside today. The rake is getting a real workout.
Your walks sound wonderful! :)
Love Spring too!
And I love my treadmill. I've had it for about five years. The brand is Proform and it folds up. :) Good luck!

Ah, Spring. I can't wait for it to show itself again here. My Weeping willow and flowering Cherry tree are now sprouting green.
We have a NordicTrac treadmill, it folds up and has a wide foot track. We've had it for almost 5 years now and I just used it last night.
It seems that I am Fairly Skeptical. *G* Sounds correct.
I hope you have an enjoyable day!
LOl on the IQ test title....
I got my treadmill from Sears several years ago. I was pretty good about using it until we moved it to the basement. It was in the study and so I always saw it. LOL But we decided there was more room in the basement. I need to start using it again. Good luck!
Congrats, Lynn!
