Christmas Cookies

Cookies are made of butter and love. ~Norwegian Proverb

Is it weird that I haven't baked any Christmas goodies for humans yet, but that I spent a couple hours yesterday baking cookies for dogs?

Of course, when you have a dog like this, who could resist spoiling her?

Smiling for camera:

We made the cookies using pureed spinach for the green ones and tomato paste for the red ones. It made them a little chewy, but Dakota doesn't seem to mind. I might make one more batch of plain ones to add to the mix. They're for our agility class and I don't think we have enough as is.

Have you done any baking (for humans or otherwise)? Got any recipes you'd like to share?

=====================

You Are Snowshoeing

You like your thrills as much as the next person, but your thrills tend to be more mental than physical.

You find thinking and playing with ideas to be exciting enough. And you don't have to risk injury to do it.

You aren't afraid of hard work. In fact, you know that doing your absolute best has its rewards.

You take good care of yourself and those you love. You value your health and stability.

This is exactly 100% right on.

Nom. Nom. Nom.

I bake for my neighbors. I'm sure they'd wish I'd stop. LOL. This year, I'm baking a loaf of herb bread and wrapping it with a little block of cheese.

If we lived closer, Tank and Iko would be over at your house ALL THE TIME.

DD actually tried the dog cookies -- said they tasted good. One of the bennies of making dog treats out of human food. :-)

And, if you lived closer, Tank and Iko would be welcome here all the time. You, too. *G*

My sister and I have been doing a lot of baking and cooking. I usually help her pre-prepare a lot of Christmas dishes so that on Christmas all she needs to do is remove them from the frig and stick in an oven. She hosts a pretty big gathering, unlike mine where we're lucky if we get 4-6 people together. We also do the Christmas cookies too. Love that best of all.

I have a tremendous urge to bake, but know I'd also eat what I made so no Holiday baking here. *G*
My quiz results are the same as yours and Dru's. And it's right for me.

Hope you had a nice Sunday!
