The Stove

If all the beasts were gone, men would die from a great loneliness of spirit... ~Chief Seattle of the Suquamish Tribe, letter to President Franklin Pierce

Now we just have to figure out how it all works and get it slowly seasoned because I hate heating with oil -- it's COLD in my house. Even the dog thinks so ... she's sleeping in little balls:

Also, we had a Christmas miracle:

The cat went up there BY HERSELF. I know, I was shocked, too!

Anything noteworthy in your neck of the woods?

You Have Grit

You can focus in on your goals and stay the course. It may be hard, but you get the task done.

You believe that it is important to finish what you start, even when you end up hating what you've chosen for yourself.

Keep up the good work. You understand that the good life is about accomplishments, not chasing every whimsical fancy you have.

Make sure to leave room for a little novelty in your life. You focus so intently that you sometimes ignore new possibilities.

Yeah ... that's about right.

That's a big stove. It looks great too.

Ref: Christmas miracle

Aren't dogs and cats sleeping together one of the signs of the apocalypse? LOL. Very cute.

You have to season the new stove? What does that entail?
Aww, Dakota and Breann look so sweet together.

My results were the same as yours. And it's pretty close.

Hope you have a good day with heat!

I would love to have a wood stove! Just got a delivery of propane today. Our second this season!! Okay, so the other people in the house like it warmer than I do.

Sandy sleeps curled up in a ball all the time. Usually it's in front of the heater.
