Tuesday Meme

"I love the movie previews... you know... Why is it whenever you're watching a movie preview you always feel like you have to comment on it to the person you're with? 'Yeah... I'm not gonna see that movie. I'm gonna wait for that on VIDEO.' I mean when you think about it, it's just a commercial for the movie. You know, you never sit at home watching tv-- "Yeah... I'm not buying that cereal. I don't like cereals with raisins in 'em. ...What's your take on that commercial? Where you goin'?" - Jim Gaffigan

Can't think of an original thing to say today, so I give you this meme:

Tina's Tuesdays

Topic: Going To The Movies

What was the last movie you saw at the theater?

The Bourne Ultimatum...I was going to say more, but then I saw the next question, so I'll say more down there! LOL...

Did you enjoy watching it? Why or why not.

I enjoyed it so much, I wrote a blog post on it. Much like the guy whose quote I used in that post, I figured "Live Free or Die Hard" was going to be the most exciting movie I saw for the year -- I was dripping sweat by the time that puppy was done. But "Bourne" beat it, hands down. It wasn't just top-speed exciting, but it made your brain work, too.

Just a really great movie.

What's the next movie you wish to go see in the theater?

I'd like to go see "Enchanted" -- the trailers for this have just tickled my funny bone to no end. But, in reality it will probably be either "Mr. Magorium's Wonder Emporium" or "The Pirates Who Don't Do Anything"... the joy of being a mom.

Okay, you're confusing me with that date at the top of the blog. I wish it were Sunday. Then I wouldn't have to run off to work.

I don't like action movies so I haven't seen either and I don't plan on it. I'm sure my DH will though.

Sorry, Ceri! LOL... I was messing around with some stuff and must have changed it. Oops.

I definitely want to see "Enchanted" because it looks like a fun movie and has Patrick Dempsey in it. I want to see the second "National Treasure" movie with Nicholas Cage - I don't remmeber the name - it's too early in the morning - lol

We happen to have $5.00 Tuesdays here at Showcase so the last movie I went to was on a Tuesday when Amanda had a day off school and we saw "The Game Plan" and the Tuesday before that, another daughter and I saw "Dan in Real Life." Steve Carell is great in this romantic comedy. And I loved all the Bourne movies.

You are a total movie buff. Classics, blockbusters, indie favorites... you've seen most of them.
Your friends know to come to you whenever they need a few good DVD rental suggestions.

Wouldn't Enchanted be okay for DD? It's gotten wonderful reviews and Mr. Magorium has gotten rotten review. I'm sad about that because I love both Dustin Hoffman and Natalie Portman.

You're a very typical movie goer. You like movies, but you are by no means a movie buff.
You've seen many of the biggest blockbusters, but you haven't really started digging in to the classics.

That is SOOOO not true!!! They just didn't ask me about the right movies. Did they ask about The Maltese Falcon? No! Bringing Up Baby? No! Mr. Blandings Builds His Dream House? No!

Hmph! I'm quite offended by that quiz's results. *g*

I've seen each of the movies that Tor mentioned! And Topper, The Ghost and Mrs. Muir, Daddy Long Legs and Easter Parade. It didn't ask about enough movies! *G* I received 36% and the same qoute as Tori, too. Ah, well.

Have a loving day.

This is so wrong...they didn't ask the right movies.
