I had a bunch of blogs drafted... but all of them deal with stuff I don't feel like talking about today. So, they stay in draft form. What this means, though, is that I have nothing much to say.
DH is going out hunting today. As nice as it is to not have to buy meat for the year when he is successful, part of me hopes the deer win this round. We'll see how it goes. He's actually off the next five days for hunting, as it is the first bit of the season and the best time to go. Could make writing a challenge, as it will wreak havoc with my schedule.
My ranking at Cre8Buzz is falling rapidly. It's a little demoralizing, I have to admit. Your rank is based on your activity at the site, and I haven't been able to do much of anything lately. I did go over yesterday and visit a couple of the folks I really enjoy, but it didn't appear to help. C'est la vie.
I wrote a little this a.m. -- so I'm 282 words in for the day. I have to wake DH up in a few minutes, so I decided to go ahead and post. Hopefully, I'll get some more time in after he leaves. Of course DD will be up then (my DH doesn't have a clue how to be quiet), so whether I'll be able to write is questionable. Fingers crossed.

Well, you're way ahead of me but yesterday was pretty much a bust. Too much running around. My laptop is coming with me to work today and I'll see what I can get done. I have no doubt I'll catch up.
My DH hunts too, but not muzzleloader. He'll go out during rifle season. I hope the deer get away too.

Melissa, Ugh... NaNo and I are not getting along today.
Dru, venison can taste differently depending on what the deer eats (grass, pine needles, apples, my tomato plants), BUT it's very low in fat and terrifically healthy. As much of an animal freak as I am, it's hard for me to deal with my DH hunting. BUT, he is a very ethical hunter and if I have venison, I'm NOT supporting the feedlots where cattle are treated so inhumanely.
