Captain's Log: 9/9/10

Mirrors should think longer before they reflect. ~Jean Cocteau

So ... just for grins, I decided to record my blog this morning. I have to have the camera plugged in to work, so it limited where I could sit. It's stacked up on top of a pile of books to be high enough, and I was a little worried it would slide off!

I find that I OPEN MY EYES REALLY WIDE a lot (wow... look at those whites!) and press my lips together when I'm thinking (which then creates a smacking noise the next time I talk).

Guess I wouldn't make a good news anchor?

Anyway, here it is ... me. Be gentle.

The Meaning of Your Life is Joy

The purpose of your life is simple: to live it to the fullest.

You believe that happiness is a choice, and being happy isn't that hard to figure out.

Too many people struggle in their lives. You think they should just let go and enjoy what they've been given.

It's easy to find misery, but it's difficult to find happiness. You know that all the happiness you need comes from within.

HAHAHAHAHAHAHA.... no.

Poor Dakota! Poor little tail. At least she's blaming the door and not DD.

Ref: Vlogs
You did great, Captain! You have a good speaking voice and you look good on film! But I'm not a fan of vlogs.

I read faster than people can speak, so I'd find myself skipping vlogs more often than not. It's just a matter of time constraints.

Thanks all... it was kind of weird watching myself, lol.

And, Maria -- don't worry. I type faster than I talk, so will be doing written blogs most of the time.

Oh, how fun to SEE you!!!! Your mannerisms remind me so much of my aunt (when she was MUCH MUCH younger!) That was cool! I hope the homeschooling group was fun, and that Dakota is overcoming her fear of doors.
