The great pleasure of a dog is that you may make a fool of yourself with him and not only will he not scold you, but he will make a fool of himself too. ~Samuel Butler, Notebooks, 1912
DH being off for five days has thrown me into a spin... and I'm still trying to recover.
DDs curriculum still isn't working, so I'm uninstalling and reinstalling and I hope that works. (FYI to Jen and Amy: It's AOP Switched-on-Schoolhouse).
I'm so far behind on LASR website stuff, it's not funny.
Haven't written in a week.
So... on that note, I leave you with my dog eating her ears:

I KNOW what you mean. Mulletman has TWO WEEKS off starting Thursday. I love to be with him, he's a great guy, but we JUST got into a rhythm with school and I'm JUST beginning to find my stride.
And he wants to paint. The WHOLE exterior of our house. And he wants to go on a full day bike excursion. And maybe a 3 day romantic camping trip for 2. All of which is lovely and either necessary or fun. But it sure does screw the schedule and the productivity!
I LOVE our curriculum, though I lent a $40 book to a mysterious someone so they could preview it and, much to my dismay, I can't remember who I lent it to. And I need it. SOON.
Gaaaaah!
Almost makes me want to eat my ears!
And please, PLEASE get rid of that video game music or I might eat YOUR ears!
Or I could just turn my sound off, but that's not nearly so dramatic to say.
Is that was that horrid noise was? Video game stuff?
I was at work when I popped into the blog and I'm looking around, WHAT IS THAT SOUND?!!!?
The speakers are on the tower, under my desk so it was distorted and WIERD!
Love Dd and her quest for ear happiness. LOLOLOL
What a silly and funny puppy!
Hugs on the backlog and I hope all comes together for you soon.

Dakota is a cutie. Strange, but a cutie. *G* Ahh, when we used a computer curriculum we used Switched on Schoolhouse. We didn't have many problems, but weren't happy with it either. Good luck reinstalling it.
I hear you on the hubs and the schedule not messing. *g*
Have a great day!
tee hee
Dakota is a hoot. She is a funny, funny dog.
Good luck with the reinstallation of your homeschooling curriculum.
Good luck.. Great pic of Dakota. :)
Wow, those ears must taste REALLY good - she's working so hard at it!
That is so cute! Are those chocolate dipped ears?
