(Not) Spring Weather

The trouble with weather forecasting is that it's right too often for us to ignore it and wrong too often for us to rely on it. ~Patrick Young

Not much to say today because we haven't done much! Yesterday was supposed to have been sunny and warm -- I had high hopes that much of the snow we'd received would melt. It was sunny for about fifteen minutes. The rest of the day was overcast and windy.

I realize that weather prediction much be difficult, but I'd sure love a job where I could be wrong more than half the time and still get paid.

Today is supposed to be cloudy and cool and tonight into tomorrow they're predicting upwards of 4" of snow again.

:::grumble grumble:::

I almost wish we hadn't been teased with such beautiful weather last week. All the walking and outdoor time is making me itch something fierce for a real spring.

I did buy flower seeds yesterday -- I couldn't help myself. I got:

Cosmos:

Straw Flowers:

Cactus Flower Zinnia:

And Bachelor Buttons:

Even though I intend on using most of my flower garden space for colorful veggies, I just couldn't resist SOME flowers ...

Now if only spring would cooperate.

I'm not terrifically social, but otherwise this is about right.

I love Spring flowers! We had a bit of weird weather this week. It was in the 80's last week and this week it's in the 60's. But didn't that dang groundhog see his shadow?!

I love all the colors that come out in Spring. The flowers you bought will be pretty.

re quiz: I'm down to earth too. It's accurate except for the social part.

Have a good day.

Those flowers look beautiful. I have to admit that although my mom is a big gardener, I’m horrible at it. Half the time I have no idea what flowers she has planted, I just know they’re cute. This year, I’ll attempt to garden and plant things around my house.

I like your cosmos. They are so pretty! Sorry to hear that your weather isn't cooperating for Spring. Hopefully soon you'll have some warmer temps and can be outside again.
Blessings for a good day!

I'm surprised you don't scan the job listings in the south to find your hubby a new job. LOL.

In our younger days we used to take several papers of areas out west to see if we could find jobs out there.
