Sleety Days and Fridays...

"Imagination is everything. It is the preview of life's coming attractions" — Albert Einstein

We're expecting sleet here today. I hate sleet. I think sleet / freezing rain should be outlawed. Period. Snow...not my favorite, but at least it's pretty and it's not miserable to got outside in it if you must. Rain? Ugly... but not so dangerous to drive in and it won't weigh down your electrical lines. Or the trees.

Sleet.

Yuck.

=====================

I solemnly vow to work on some of my own writing today. I haven't touched the mystery all week, and I refuse to start the next week without my word count going up at least a little bit. I will, I will, I will.

My DH asked when my "next" book was coming out. I said, "When I finish it." Gah. Bad me.

Dakota sunbathing... ahh...

Honestly, I can't complain. She is getting better. She's really, really smart -- which I think is one of the problems we have in getting her to do what we want her to do. And it's amazing to think that: she's never gotten into the garbage, despite all the yummy smells, she's never even tried to go down into the basement despite the temptation, she's been completely potty trained since that first week.

She might make a decent dog yet.

Your Dominant Intelligence is Linguistic Intelligence

You are excellent with words and language. You explain yourself well.
An elegant speaker, you can converse well with anyone on the fly.
You are also good at remembering information and convincing someone of your point of view.
A master of creative phrasing and unique words, you enjoy expanding your vocabulary.

You would make a fantastic poet, journalist, writer, teacher, lawyer, politician, or translator.

Well... PHEW!! That's good to know *G*...

Too funny! I just blogged on The Lark Journals about the approaching ice storm!

Have a great Friday despite the weather. Love it that you're going to spend some time writing. Me, too. I hope. :)

Well, my daughter keeps asking me when are the t.v. are coming. She thinks when you write a book you are instantly famous. I hate to break the news to her, especially when she tells my son when I'm writing, "don't bother her, she's writing so we can be rich."

I love my little diva.

As a sidenote: check out my blog. There's good news for you there.

Is your hubs very supportive? I'm sure he knows you're working hard.

Dakota is a darling! I'm glad she's better.

Ice storms are awful, we lost power a couple of years ago for a week thanks to one. Ugh!

Have a fabulous friday!

Good luck, Marianne. We're in the same boat about writing. I need to get to work on my own stuff.

I've had a horrendous week as far as my novel has gone. I don't write well when I'm under the weather. Ick.
