Had a really nice day yesterday. Took Dakota to the dog park to play with her friend, did some weeding, watched "Eureka" and "Warehouse 13" (was terrifically behind on those), and worked on the website. It was really relaxing...
...right up until I got a call from my DH that the boat trailer had a flat and he was stuck on the side of the road.
*sigh*
He had help coming for the trailer, but didn't know how long it would take so asked me to drive up and get all his passengers and bring them back. It was late, it was dark and off I went on my almost hour-long drive there and another hour back.
We got home quite late. He wasn't too far behind me. But, wow, did it end the lovely day (for them, too) on a downer.
Oh well. At least we're expecting nice weather again today. I plan on doing some garden clean up. Most of my perennials are past, so I need to cut them back before they reseed. I really, REALLY don't need any more coneflower or black-eyed susans.
