I realized again today why so many newer books (esp. "chick lit") don't resonate with me. This realization occured when I got an email in my inbox from Amazon that said: Kate Spade is here! and I tried to think of what book she'd written.
In fact, it took me clicking through on the link to figure out just who (or what) Kate Spade was.
Do you suppose I'll be fired from the ranks of women?

Today, DH and DD will remain home. It's raining. They need rest (they both look exhausted -- did I mention they were out boating three days in a row?). But, it will undoubtedly make for an interesting day all around with us cooped up inside all day. I may go hide in my office...
