I have made resolutions. Many are private, but one I will share here:
WRITE.
I resolve to write and to submit work this year. I *will* get a contract for something somewhere reputable if it's the last thing I do.
What's something you're resolving to do this year? Or, are you resolving to not resolve anything?

You Appreciate Diversity |
You are cosmopolitan, but you don't make a show if it. You are proud of your taste, but you keep that pride to yourself. You are responsible and restrained. You've gotten far in your life from being disciplined. Right now, you value your own needs most. You believe it's time to take care of yourself. You are bright and curious about the world. You feel like you're in a bit of a rut, and you're looking for a little something more out of life. |
Aside from the fact that I'm SO not cosmopolitan, this is pretty close.

I generally don't make resolutions, but I do make benchmarks that I update as each one is reached.
This year 2 sequels and at least one novella. No pressure, right? :)
I've learned not to make resolutions that I won't keep, but I do make goals and one of my goals is to find a job that fits me.
re quiz: same as yours.
Have a good Saturday.
That’s the same as my resolution. I intend to write a lot too.
Happy New Year, Marianne!
One of mine is to get a bigger publisher for something. I want to make more money from my writing than I spend on promo. Good luck to both of us in achieving our writing goals!
And the usual one - to lose weight and to exercise daily!
I don't really make resolutions. I find that those made for an occasion are easily broken or forgotten.
You Appreciate Honesty
You are casual and unpretentious. You don't have a lot of high expectations... you just expect to have fun.
You are responsible and restrained. You've gotten far in your life from being disciplined.
Right now, you value love most in your life. Romance is what's important to you.
You are ambitious and a real go-getter. You are always thinking of new ways to improve yourself.
Pretty close, actually!
Happy New Year! I hope your first day of the New Year is awesome!
I don't usually do much in the way of resolutions. But I am going to try and take better care of myself. :)
I'm not much of a resolution-maker either, but I did post my blog today with a renewal of A Writer's Oath that I use with my students.
Good luck with you goals.
