Happy Mother's Day to all the moms and surrogate moms out there! For Mother's Day this year, I have a sick daughter and a sick husband! I think theirs is the gift of germs, but I'm truly hoping they don't share...

I was truly blessed the day I had my daughter, and often feel like I'm not the best mom in the world to her, but I do my best.



And I admit, I count these "kids" in as mine as well:




But mostly today, I'm missing my own mom, who's living far, far away:
