Ha. The final score was: humans 1, oak 29. The rest of the pieces are strategically scattered around our property, a kind of rustic outdoor furniture -- fences, chairs, and footstools.

You have my every sympathy.

As for me:

You Are Reply
You are friendly, caring, and warm. What goes on in your friends' lives matters to you.
You are an excellent listener, and you give good advice. Lots of people seek your input, and you're more than happy to give it.

You believe that social ties are important, and you never ignore a friend. You communicate as often as possible with those you love.
You always have words of encouragement, support, or follow up questions. You are gifted at keeping the conversation flowing.

Sort of right.

Hope you got to relax and tend those aching muscles today!annohttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05102616203481686227noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-14366870.post-9120068356020637152009-10-18T17:30:04.823-04:002009-10-18T17:30:04.823-04:00Whew! You don't have time for distractions in your life.
If something bothers you or upsets you, you try to get it out of your mind as quickly as possible.

You've been known for dropping conversations, friends, and even jobs that are toxic to you. You have no problem letting go.
You look to the future and don't hold on to the past. In your opinion, the past often ties you down... and you'd like to be as free as possible.

That's a lot of work! Good thing it wasn't too warm yesterday. I hate doing wood. Growing up, we had 12 acres of woods. My dad liked to cut down his own trees (with good reason-wood is expensive) and we'd spend hours hauling it out of the forest. My mom and I got smart after we bought our horse. We made a make-shift harness and had him drag logs out. We planted tree...My back hurts just reading this.

We planted trees yesterday, definitely easier than cutting and hauling. But I was still ache-y.

We'll be clearing some more land in December if it doesn't get too cold, but only what we have to clear since there's still too much work to do to get this place in order.

I tried to bribe my friends and family with pizza once.
