I have lists, anyway, of what I want to get people.

How on earth does anyone get organized for Christmas that far in advance?

Maybe it's because I'm a December baby. If I leap into the holiday season too early, I'll skip my own celebration altogether :)Allie Bonifacehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17334745422433097012noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-14366870.post-71475040409695720762007-11-25T18:12:00.000-05:002007-11-25T18:12:00.000-05:00Every November I have to fight off my own personal...Every November I have to fight off my own personal Scrooge. She lives inside me all year and comes out on Black Friday. This year she's trying to talk me into grabbing a log from the back yard and sticking that in the corner of the living room.

"It's a mini tree, kids. Really it is. Just use you're imagination."

She gets more ridiculous with each passing year. :-)Shesawriterhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14904247751806210823noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-14366870.post-21115961722313118612007-11-25T16:56:00.000-05:002007-11-25T16:56:00.000-05:00I'm a minimal tree too. :)I'm a minimal tree too. :)Tori Lennoxhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07466979613205850564noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-14366870.post-75072318027665038722007-11-25T12:36:00.000-05:002007-11-25T12:36:00.000-05:00Since the holiday spirts took a hold of me early, ...Since the holiday spirts took a hold of me early, I have all the decorations that I'm going to do, the tinsel tree and the two Hallmark ornaments.

I'm not a last minute shopper; I know more or less what I'm getting people and most are gift certificates to their favorite stores.

I use to mail a lot of Christmas cards; now, I don't send too many, preferring to send e-cards.

I am a Minimal Christmas Tree which is so true.

Have a good day.Druhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07978384022143035332noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-14366870.post-42764140883833015662007-11-25T10:51:00.000-05:002007-11-25T10:51:00.000-05:00I insist on taking my holidays one at a time. That means all the leftovers are eaten and the kitchen is cleaned up. And no tree until the first weekend in December.

I also think that if people don't want books for Christmas, there's something wrong with them. That simplifies Christmas shopping. I just head to Border's, load up on something for everyone and then trundle down the street to a cozy cafe where I sip hot chocolate and read a few of the books I happened to find for myself while shopping for others.annohttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05102616203481686227noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-14366870.post-61368822008435366982007-11-25T10:17:00.000-05:002007-11-25T10:17:00.000-05:00I'm really chaotic - I get all the shopping done t...I'm really chaotic - I get all the shopping done that I can, but usually there are things that I forget and then get stuck the last minute. This year I'm stuck because I'm part of two gift exchanges and haven't received my info for the people I have to buy for. I also have to make and pack meringues for my DH's side of the family. And we won't do our decorating until mid-December.Jenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02362687820368214420noreply@blogger.com
